Center channel distance

I have an all Audio Note system and AN doesn't make a shilded center channel speaker. If I bought their AX2 speaker and used it as a center channel speaker how far away does it have to be from the TV before it screws up the picture. I have plenty of room above the HDTV.

Thanks,
Gary

Aprox.30 inches--from ANY angle/measurement (up/down-- side to side and naturally 30 in front of the tv).
you said you have a hdtv is it a tube? or crt or lcd? if it is a crt you can mostlikely put it close, if it is a lcd doesn't matter if it is a tube they are teh most sensitive. also depends on the size of the magnet on the speaker and you can put a metal plate between the speaker and tv for shielding.
