CEC modifications - do they work?????

Hi

I have some experience with the CEC TL1x, Parasound cdp-2000 and Parasounds drive 2000. Sound are very similar to each and another, but they have a common weak side which I can not live with - bass production estimated between 80-120 cycle. My question is, have anyone experience with mods which can solve this problem???

Otherwise, I love the sound from these belt driven cd players. They're not detailed like a Sony, but I play horns, so I do not care.

Are you presently using any vibration isolation products with your CEC? What you are describing at the frequency extremes was present in my Theta Jade and much improved by going to a different vibration Iso system.
Just a thought.
