You may want to check out the Pioneer elite 45A. I'm not familiar with what's new these days, but I have the 47ai and am very pleased with it. The 45a is supposed to be quite similar to the 47ai.
CD/DVD/DVDA player as a transport
I have a MSB Gold link III and was using it with a Rega Planet, with the Planet as a transport. I would like to get a CD/DVD/DVDA player to use only as a transport and run the MSB as the DA. I do a lot of on location recordings and will be soon burning my own 96/24 recordings and was looking for a player out there that will operate as a good transport. The transport/player will need to output a 96/24 signal.
