Cary Audio CAD 211 FE Amplifier vs mcintohs mc-601

hi, i have a mcintosh mc-601 mono amplifiers, ayon cd5-s cdplayer and dynaudio c4 confidence speakers. I want a upgrade : a Cary Audio CAD 211 FE mono valve amplifiers are a good options in relations to mcintosh mc-601? your opinions please.

I have the 211 FE, and the local audio store has the 601. I can tell you that it is going to be near impossible for me to get my 211 FE to that store because of the sheer weight and size of the 211 FEs.

I would also like to know what the difference is.
