Cary 306/200 remote help

I have have a 306/200 with built in potentiometer to control volume; however I lost the remote (plastic). I have tried various universal remotes with no luck, they only seem to control cd play like the heavy metal remote. I am looking to see if anyone has a remote to sell or could suggest a universal remotes that will work.  
 Does the volume level display on the blue light panel?
