Cartridge recommendation?

I have a Pro-Ject 6.9 turntable that I purchased new about 6 years ago and never used. The rest of the system components are: Sonic Frontiers SFL-1 Signature, McCormack Micro Drive phono amp, California Audio Labs Icon MkII, Vandersteen 3's bi-amped with two Muse 100's. My budget for a cartridge is $175.00 --- what opinions do you have on a good cartridge selection?. It's time I got back into vinyl.

Thanks,

Koetsu black goldline. I think the mccormack will do low output moving coils. truly holographic and sweet.
I THINK A EXCELENT CHOICE IS THE EMPIRE EDR.9 MM. I JUST INSTALLED IT AND THINK IT IS A BIG INPROVEMENT OVER THE $300 ORTOFON OM30S I WAS USING

I PAID $150 INCLUDING SHIPPING FROM EBAY

Sorry about the caps

read my review

Another choice could be a Ortofon OM 20 in your price range and a ok cartride but no where near the Empire's Fidelity

Thanks for your replies. I dug a little deeper into my wallet, and bought a Grado Reference Platinum demo cartridge.
Try a Shure M97, known to be very neutral. I've heard it stomp some lofty competition.
