I won't go by reviews, so I can't help you there, but I do have some GR and used to have some 8TC and found them to be not similar at all. The GR is a bit on the expensive side, though. You can probably save yourself a lot of money going with an alternate brand.
Cardas Golden Ref with Kimber 12TC?
My system is all tube and all Cardas Golden Reference. I need longer speaker cables and am considering Kimber 12TC instead of CGR, primarily because it is more available and also the reviews make it appear to have a similar sonic character. What do you think? Do you have experience with both?
