Capacitor

Dear friends I am interested to upgrade my caps in the tube preamp from Audio theta tin foil 3uf200VDC to Miflex1uf 240VDC copper foil what are your thoughts will reducing the value to 1uf affect the bass and frequency response or should I go with a higher value than 3uf

@grannyring
What do you think about the HT jupiter paper wax for the amps or maybe the Rike S2 cap or Audyn true copper will they be better than the Audio Theta

more votes were for the duelund but they do not have the value I am looking for and they are quite big to fit in my pre the only option left is the Jupiter, Odam, miflex and the rike q caps.
@grannyring
the output impedance is 1200 ohms and the input impedance of the amp is 470000 ohms
@grannyring
The preamp is C1800 of canary audio and amps are grand reference from same canary audio for your reference
These are tube amps and I do not wish to change them in near future so kindly suggest something which will give a more 3D holographic image
What do you think of the Audyn, miflex or the Rike Audio Q cap if you have heard them.
I need 4 caps and the brand mentioned above are going to cost a lot.
@grannyring
I have same caps with lower value 0.33uf 600vdc in my tube mono blocks also do you think changing them will also bring a good difference
India, that is the reason I am unable to decide, will be buying blind hence your expert opinion I am zeroing in on the Miflex or Odam.

What do you think about the amp caps I asked in my previous post what do you think I should do.
@ Grannyring
I had 4 jentzen superior Z caps changed them and was surprised how the sound improved though they are not burned in as yet just 10 hours
I guess caps do make a difference wondering how the V cap Odam or the miflex copper cap will fare will it be better than the Jantzen caps.
3.3uf 800 vdc  that is temporarily because I intend to use 1uf 250VDC of miflex in the future was just experimenting and found the results to be better than the audio theta caps what amp are you using
I have written to Canary to confirm what the 3uf capacitors are for output or interstage lets wait for their mail
@grannyring
I received a mail from canary the 3uf caps are signal caps so will a lower value be ok
@grannyring
In my shoes what would you choose for correct tone timber and transparency
the Odam or Duelund
@pauly
You are absolutely correct there is a brand I do not want to name he has 3 line stage the basic, enhanced and super enhanced and the only difference is the parts used but the price is almost 40% more in each step up
Thanks Pauly money is not the issue here but it is the way I want my music to be served to me with that 3D holographic image that ghosting effect of the musician being there in the room with lushness and correct tone and timber of the instruments this is what confuses me as to which Cap would be able to do this magic
I am placing the order for the Jupiter 3.3uf the Jantzen superior Z could make me smile I can not say what the Jupiter will do.
After all the above views and experience of all the forum members the only zero in on the caps I have narrowed down are two.
I have been looking into more 3D image correct tone of instruments:

1:Jupiter Copper and Paper Wax
2: VCap Odam

Duelund is out of the game for the size issue, price and non availability.

Now kindly vote for the above two and I shall pull the Trigger.

Lastly thanks to all of you who have been so supportive and taken time to provide their views and participated in this discussion.
I have placed the order for the jupiter copper paper in wax 3.3uf400VDC as for the other small caps I had replaced them long time back with the rike audio S2 Al in oil caps.
I am also thinking of changing the audio theta .33uf 600VDC in the canary grand reference amp
Does changing the amp caps also make a difference
Jupiters will be here with me in 2 days can some one explain how many hours of burn in will open the cap and what should I expect in the sound  in the process of burn in to stay on track and not discard the caps
Ultimately put the Jupiter in the Pre and yes there was a difference and for good but how good it will be when it settles down is to be heard just done 17 hours and the boat still sails keeping my fingers crossed because a big amount is spent on the caps hopefully it should get me what I want to achieve.
Dear all I am loving the way the jupiters sound this has encouraged me to go a step further to change the caps in the power amplifier so what should I try the value being 0.33uf 600VDC
I am not changing the value currently they have 0.33 uf was asking which brand to go with as there are 18 caps to change
I understand what you say, but then 18pcs of Odam 0.33uf 600VDC is some big money and miflex is less than half the price of Odam
I am using the Canary Grand reference with 8 tubes on each side when I opened the amp cover each tube had a cap underneath it
