Curious as well. The Canare has been a great speaker wire for me, especially at the price.
So many floks say silver speaker wires are great for detailed sound I tried it once and it robbed the bass completely from my system. I could not believe the phenomena since never have I experienced so much difference in any cable (most of the time I cannot differentiate between two cables).

I was (and still am) using the 4s11 and is IMHO avery good cable for the price.

I believe cables are system dependant, some combinations work some dont. You need to find it out yourself what works better with your speaker/amp combination.

I suggest you experiment and while doing so have fun with the hobby
OK YES I FORGOT TO TELL ABOUT MY SYSTEM.

I HAVE COBALTS FROM JMLAB WITH AN INTEGRATED AMPLIFIER FROM NAD MODEL C 350 ALSO A NAD CD PLAYER AND MIT TERMINATOR 2 AS INTERCONECT CABLES AND MIT TERMINATOR 4 AS SPEAKER CABLES AND WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THE CANARES MEANS AN IMPROVEMENT
To be honest you really do not need expensive speaker cables for the system you have. I am very familiar with the Nad components but not heard the particular speakers you have.

I do not think you can go wrong with the Canare 4s11. Its not expensive at all and has proved to be a very good cable in many a system.

Good Luck
I used MIT Terminator 2's for a long time. They are two steps above the 4's and the top of that particular line of MIT products. I also have extensive experience with 4S11. 4S11 is a much better product. Much better bass, much more spatial. The MIT cable's I find to be fatiguing. Of course the 4S11 is a fraction of the cost. At their cost you can't go wrong if you want to try them.
