I believe it is based on the Bob Crump DIY Audio Asylum power cord design. Take 5 Audio just assembles it for you. I guess they cryo it too and maybe use different plugs on the ends (don't remember). In any case for $70 it should work just fine.

I am wanting to upgrade my power cables, and as I live in Canada I have found a company called Take Five Audio. I have checked the forums for anything on their Asylum Powercord Deluxe. It is Cryo'd and burned for 5 days. It is only $70.00 for 5 Feet. Does any one out there know any thing about these power cords??
