Can Vinyl LP's Survive In A Room that Gets 95 Degrees?

I'd be more worried about humidity. Mold will grow on vinyl; especially if there is something like a fingerprint to help it get started growing.

Mitch - I stored 2 boxes of albums in my attic when I lived in Atlanta for around 10 years. Only 1 warped record - they were packed tightly, that probably helped.

That would make for a great, uhm, quickly expanding material. As vapors in this case might occupy 1000 times more space.

Carpet bombing with old copies of Ferrante & Teicher , bent fabric, and Al Jolson?  The Bill Cosby records alone could deal with an entire country....

No. At precisely 92 degrees vinyl evaporates.

I live in Arizona, where my record storage in the garage frequently tops 110 degrees.  My records have no warps...all is good.

 I think you should consider that vinyl is pressed at much higher temperatures.  And when distributed through the country in trucks that reach much higher temperatures in the cargo area that is not climate controlled, they arrive in good condition. 95 degrees is not near hot enough to cause warping in a room. If they were sitting outside in the sun at 95 degrees, you’d get entirely different results.

Maybe the question is also for how long. In addition, perhaps what kind of vinyl. That junk recycled vinyl..I don't know. I don't like the idea of taking a risk with this, though.

While the conditions you describe aren't ideal, your vinyl should be fine at 95 degrees - particularly if stored vertically.  Many, many years back (before I knew any better) I stored a couple of boxes of records in an un-airconditioned room in my parents garage in Houston - where virtually every day in the summer months hits 90 or better. 

The records were in storage for almost two years and emerged in fine shape. I still play many of them to this day.

while you said that you dont have ac in that room.....have you thought about getting a small window unit ?

is the room going to be blocked off ?
