Can I use both sets of analog outs on my CD player

I have a Arcam Cd-82 with 2 sets of analog outs. I am wondering if I could connect the 2 sets of outputs to 2 different inputs on my Musical Fidelity A308 Integrated Amp and compare different innerconnects. IE Kimber Kables on the CD input and Audioquests on the Aux1 input, or possibly a Musical Fidelity Tubed Output Buffer in one circut and straight cables in the other? I don't know enough about electronics to understand how the outputs would be connected in the CD player and if this would be a wise way to evaluate cables or the tubed buffer. Any thoughts or input will be greatly appricated!

Sure, I use the extra outputs from my Arcam 9 to a headphone amp. Seems like you've discovered a clever way to do a/b testing.
