Can anyone answer this? What is a blue skinned cable??

I want to learn something new. If you can explain this, I would be grateful. If someone could provide a link to a white paper, a picture, or some measurements of this particular type of cable, that would be great.

FROM A PREVIOUS POST:

Who is Geoff Kait? Isn’t he the person who gave @teo_audio this idea? :

DIRECTLY FROM HIS POST

Let’s talk about a claim by a person who used to be here. Geoff Kait.

That a blue skinned cable can potentially sound different than a red one. Stated more as a blanket kind of fact, by Geoff, possibly phrased thus so people might try to get the point, is the guess.

The science of it is solid and is on the books and covers it in totality. Where, when all science and rigor in testing is dealt with, that this comment from him (which he probably picked up elsewhere) holds actual real water, in all scientific rigor possible.

I will try a tweak on various cables and let you folks know if it makes a difference. May take some time to get what I need for it, but this time I’m going to have a completely open mind (without testing or measurements).

I for one am not holding my breath. ;)

I bought the cleaver little clock from Geoff many years ago (I just searched my Audiogon record and it says 2008) with money back guarantee. I have no idea why and how, and in fact can't care less, but surely it made the noticeable difference in my listening to music - more pleasurable. So I kept it. Unexplainable scientifically or whatever yet, but I trust my ears, and to the naysayers who may want to criticize me one thing I am absolutely sure is that I know for whose pleasure I listen to music. It is still in my system by the way and it is going nowhere.
A few days ago I posted my experience with one of the Geoff’s products, the clever little clock. And today I’d like to address my experience dealing with Geoff, since there are many who say things negative even without having experienced anything personally.

I also purchased in 2019 his resonators, of course with full money back guarantee. I detected its pleasant effect clearly but it softened the violent attack of solo piano. So I contacted him about returning them for refund. He was more than gracious and upon my notice of shipping back he refunded fully including the initial shipping cost even before receiving it back. I suspected that he didn’t want to get mired into who’d be responsible for the return shipping. To me it was no problem since it is norm for the returner to be responsible for it.

Another time, I found the battery on the little clock had been dead awhile. Upon contacting to learn how to reset and various successive questioning, he was always prompt, patient and to the point in his response. I will have no problem dealing with him again.

For the folks complaining about their encounter with him, I might say, I respond good to the people who treat me good, nasty to the ones who are nasty to me. I believe most people will do the same. I have no idea how things went in others’ encounter with him but I know he was ridiculed often. Perhaps that could be the possible explanation?

Dude, you are changing what I meant. I meant to say I didn't trust you. Don't flatter yourself.

No, I just want my words to be taken as I state, not subject to your wild interpretation for your convenience. Most of the opinions expressed in this kind of thread are dime a dozen. Even among those, I find ones coming from your kind of blabbermouth totally worthless and complete waste of time, cyberspace, effort, energy.. I already overstayed here than my original intention. Outta here. Bye!
