Cambridge CP1 alternate transformer

Has anyone substituted a higher amperage transformer for the Cambridge audio CP1 or CP2?

1. How much did you increase the amps?

2. How did it affect SQ?


Also, is there perhaps a different "kind" of small 12v ac transformer?
