Anything on the Water Lily label. A Meeting By The River (with Ry Cooder) is fantastic, both sonically and musically.

Dead Can Dance - Spiritchaser  or Anastasis  on 4AD either is very well recorded.

The remastered Beatles Anniversary Edition of Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band album is truly awesome. 

If stereo, Leonard Cohen Ten New Songs or, as mentioned before, Live in London will be a little different but great.

If you have an opportunity for mono, The Beatles 2014 mono remasters. Take a pick, for me Please Please Me is the one but all are great. Even if you are not a Beatles fan and never listen to them, it is worth it (happened to me, I bought all of them eventually).

If you are only looking to hear how much has changed, take The Rolling Stones Exile On Main St. Half-Speed remaster from, I think, 2016. It is still mud, but mud that you can see through now.

Steely Dan, Dana Krall, Norah Jones, Stanley Turrentine, James Taylor, Doobie Brothers, OZMountain, KebMO, David Sanborn, Christopher Cross, Darius Rucker, and Jimmy Buffett. I really enjoy listening to good recordings.. I enjoy hearing the sustain pedal on Diana Krall, fingers sliding over frets, etc... I remember listening to a quality Chet Baker CD that I thought was good.  Doug Macleod and Tuba Skinny are two recent discoveries. I don't like the Tuba Skinny recordings but love the music and Erika Lewis is fantastic.
I see 180g.. I don't know what that is... Are new Sheffield recordings still available?

You got 300 LPs including a stack of Sheffields and direct-to-discs and the first thing you want to do is buy another record??? First thing I'd be doing is picking through that stack! Second thing, buying a good ultrasonic record cleaner. Third, zero-stat. Fourth, Stylast or other good stylus cleaner. 

The only way my first move would be to buy a new LP is if the Reference Recording 45 rpm 2-LP set of Doug MacLeod Exactly Like This is not in your stash. If that is the case then please whatever you do drop everything and track it down. Music Direct, Acoustic Sounds and all the usual suspects are already back-ordered, with no telling when they will press more. You might find one on Discogs.com but whatever you do just make sure you find one. If you haven't heard it go look for Serious Doin Woman on YouTube.

180g Vinyl is heavier than “regular” records. 2x ?  Not sure.

I bought two re-issues of past great albums:  King Crimson - "In the Court of The Crimson King" and Elton John - "Yellow Brick Road".  Both 180 gram weight vinyl records.
