Butler Monad A100 vs newer options

There is a Butler Monad A100 for sale at the moment which I'm seriously considering making an offer on.
My question is, is this 10 year old amp / technology still relevant compared to more modern incarnations? Am I better to put my money into something like the BHK250?
I'd be replacing a 15 year old Perreaux 250P.
