Burning a dics for a road trip, suggestions...

I personally love Southern rock while driving, especially the anything from The Allman Brothers Band. Ramblin' Man, Midnight Rider, Southbound, Blue Sky, Melissa, etc. You can also throw on a few Skynard tracks, some Marshall Tucker, Molly Hatchet, and Green Grass and High Tides from The Outlaws to wrap it up.

I most heartly agree with Horseface but, would add one more album to the list. REO Speedwagon's "Decade of Rock and Roll" It's a live album of their greatest hits before all that later top forty crap they came out with in the 80s and later.

A year and half ago, my wife and I did New York-Oklahoma City-Vegas-San Francisco-Seattle-Minneapolis-Des Moines-Nashvile in eight weeks. My lesson learned: Creedence Clearwater Revival and Elmore James -- don't leave home without them.
