Bullet Plug Question

I am currently fooling around with preamps and I happened to notice that with bullet plugs the ground pin doesn't always touch the metal female RCA on the back of the pre, amp, cdp, etc.

Being this is the case and you cannot make the pin touch (just cannot get close enough), is this allowing for RF/EMI "noise" to get into the signal or potentially causing a dangerous situation by the fact that you could be losing your ground in your system?

Thnx in advance,

Sorry,

I just answered my own question. The pin is exposed on the inside of the bullet plug, not just on the end of the pin.

Thnx for looking though,
