Not to worry. They would probably over compress the SACDs just like they do most recent CDs and even some SACDs.Buddy Holly and Elvis on SACD
Just in case anyone is interested, the only known recording of some Elvis and Buddy Holly (several songs) on SACD is on a 2-disc German import called Rock 'N Roll Memories (just search for it on the web). It's EXPENSIVE, but sounds extraordinary.
I have it and, well, to me it's worth every penny. They come to life with nuance that is stunning and revelatory.
(And what a shame, disgrace actually, that, say, the Beatles are not available on SACD.)
