Blues: Good Vinyl Recordings

I just purchased Little Freddie Kings new record "direct to disc" on APO records. Its a really well recorded and enjoyed the record. Also got to see him live in New Orleans reccently and he was great live.

Can anyone suggest some very well recored Blues on Vinyl?

anything by John Lee Hooker, especially The Healer and Mr. Lucky
Muddy Waters Folk Singer
Lightnin Hopkins, Going Away and second Folk Singer

Good listening

Check out Buddy Guy's "Skin Deep". A very well recorded album IMHO.
Almost all of Joe Bonamassa's albums have just been released on import vinyl. Try, "Black Rock", "Sloe Gin" or "A New Day Yesterday" for starters.
Same topic 2 months ago, though I'm guessing not exclusively vinyl:
Fred McDowell: "I do not play no Rock 'n Roll"

The straight 'n nachel' blues...
Taj Mahal's 1st lp.
Well, I cannot find a vinyl issue of this album, but I can tell you that it is *very* well-mastered and recorded by Mr. Michael Bishop. Check out Junior Wells' "Come On In This House" available on CD and DTS-CD. The bass output is astonishing at times...

Look at Fat Possum and Blind Pigs labels. good stuff.
