Biwiring question.

I recently got a pair of biwirable speakers for a second system. I have a pair of very short lengths(1.5') of top of the line Siltech speaker cables terminated at one end with spades, and at the other end is bare wire. The construction of this cable is such that each run has four internal individually insulated conductors of heavy gauge stranded silver wire; two red (+) and two black (-). All four tightly braided inside the outer insulation.

Is there any reason that I should not use this cable in a bi-wire configuration, using each cable as, in effect, two cables inside one sheath. One pair of red and black to the tweeter and the other pair to the woofer, with the monoblocks sitting just behind the speakers. I believe that the cable is heavy enough that gauge is not a problem.

Thanks for your thoughts.
