Make sure you have read the previous threads that beat the subject to death. If you still want to do it, then yes, you direct the most power to the bass or woofer(s).
Bi-amping the B & W 803s
Hi, I'm just getting back into audio after a few yrs of problems. Over now & I want to here some tunes. I have a Rotel 1068 processor & 2 Carver amps. A TFM 55 at 380 wpc & A TFM 45 at 375 wpc. I plan on getting a good CD player. I think I want to b-amp or (dual amp) my set of 803s B&W speakers. This has been beat to death I know but should I run the base with the higher power 55 & mids & top with the 45?
