There has been a pair of Unison 845 amps that will work like a charm with the DB99's. I have used 845's with VR4's for several years and I have been very happy with the over-all performance
Best tube amp for high efficiency speakers
I am buying Von Schweikert DB-99's and want to know what tube amp would work well with these speakers? I want something very emotionally moving with detail and nice mids and highs. Bass is less important as the speakers have built in class A SS amps for woofers. Price range is approx 1k-2K.
