This question is more complex perhaps than most people thought here...
The best speakers i listen to are my Tannoy dual gold concentric, and some magnepan ....
BUT the best sound from speakers i listen to comes from my very good but less high end actual speakers Mission CYRUS 781...
Why this discrepancie between my 2 affirmations?
Because the best sound dont always come from the best speakers....
Buy the speakers you wanted to, if they are not mechanically, electrically and acoustically rightfully embedded in these 3 dimensions you will never know how good they are in reality....
That is my experience for the last years of my experiments....
This is why my motto is: Dont upgrade anything, embed everything rightfully before....
