Best Sounding Opera CD

In my experience most of the Opera Cd's I have, whether it be a compilation of popular arias from various operas, or
the complete opera on 2-3 cd's of a single opera, the sound seems to be thin and tinny. Can anyone recommend a
cd that does justice ot the beautiful music that is contained therein.

Off the top of my head, here are some to try:

Any of the Renee Jacobs Mozart Operas on Harmonia Mundi:
1. Le Nozze di Figaro
2. Cosi Fan Tutti
3. La Clemenza di Tito
4. Don Giovanni

Two years back, Deutsche Grammophon released a budget series called Opera House. Excellent performances across the board. Two to consider:

1. La Traviata (Scotto)
2. Rigoletto (Scotto)

Also, some DG recitals:

2. Netrebko/Garanca - Opera Gala
