Best options for active speakers $4k or below?

Want a simple but superb sounding all-inclusive active speaker for my elderly but loud-music-loving mother in NJ. Used is OK!

Aside from the Elac, I don't think recording studio monitors are ideal, though. The speakers would be in a medium sized living room not in near field. Are these the only options?

That would be my hands-down choice! Partner them with a Bluesound Node 2i and a Tidal subscription!
