I am interested in this also!!! I just got some Matsushita tubes from Andy at Vintage Tubes and put them into my ARC PH 3 SE....too soon to tell but I suspect I hear a difference...have to listen more tonight. Anyway, I have heard good comments about Amperex and Semeins. I would like to know if anyone has used them in ARC equipment (LS 25 mkl's)..come on 'Goners....help us out? Thanks to you all!!

MY SYSTEM IS A CEC DRIVE WITH FORSELL DAC,SPEAKERS MANI-TWO BY TOTEM,AMP IS AN EVOLUTION 2000 BY CJ.I BOUGHT A USED ARC LS 25 MK1 WHO REPLACE MY CJ PREMIER TEN.MY NEW ARC LS 25PRE-AMP GOT THE ORIGINAL SOVTEK SO MY QUESTION IS:IT SEEMS THAT SIEMENS,TELEFUNKEN AND AMPEREX ARE THE BEST SOUNDING NOS TUBES (6922) BUT THEY ARE QUIET EXPENSIVE AND YOU COULD GET FOULED IN BUYING A CHINEESE COPY...I SEARCH TUBES (6922) THAT WILL GIVE ME A TIGHT BASS,A FULL BODIED MIDRANGE AND A SOFT BUT DETAILLED HIGHS.ANY RECOMMANDATIONS?PLACE OR GUY TO DEAL???
