Best movies last two years

I haven't watched many dramas lately. Best was "Love Song for Bobby ...".

What have you enjoyed ?

You know I saw this little Australian film "Little Fish" with Cate Blanchett, Sam Neil and Hugo Weaving which has really stuck with me. Blanchett hotness (which was more like earthiness in the film) which I'm a sucker for anyway, aside; it's really one of the best made films I've seen in a good long while.

Broken Flowers is totally worthwhile; it's maybe the only film that I think captures the way most men actually look at women without being judgemental, Old Boy (Korean - absolutely brilliant and unbelievably bizarre), Sideways.
I'm going to add Serenity to that list in case you haven't rented the Firefly DVD's yet. The best thing since Babylon 5, or Doctor Who - and an engaging cast as well. And the DP Jack Green shot it - go on: rent it. Do it. Do it NOW.
Actually I thought the grotesquerie of "Sin City" became it's own sort of poetry - I also really loved the graphic novel and it was surprising to me how "true" the film felt to it. Mickey Rourke is one of the all time most underrated actors: "Pope of Greenwich Village". Need I say more?
You know, I usually hate Ron Howard films, but I have to admit Cindarella Man is the one I have enjoyed the most since Gung Ho. Have I said how nice it is to see people posting foreign films on here? I thought I was the only one.
I didn't realize "Manon" was a sequel. May I recommend "Kinky Boots" and Ozu's "Floating Weeds" (the original version)? The later version of "Floating Weeds" was playing on IFC the other night, and I was surprised; not anywhere near as good. I'm trying to think of a weirder double bill than the two above, but not coming up with much... Usually every time I see another "working class" film out of the UK, I think that I've seen it before; they're all kind of the same. Well "Kinky Boots" isn't.
