Best Guitar CD Recording

I have only Leo Kottke's, "One Guitar No Vocals." I need more well recorded guitar discs. It could be blues, classical, blue grass, or surprise. Any ideas?

Steve Hackett's " A Midsummer Night's Dream" is very well recorded. Steve playing classical guitar with orchestral accompaniment. Nice!
Yep, big Hackett fan here.

that's a classic Hackett piece that never fails to generate tingles.

Steve's lead on "hairless Heart" from The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway is another great one.

His lead on Firth Of Fifth from Selling England By the Pound is often mentioned in lists of all time great rock guitar leads.
Metamorpheus is on my list to get.

You can really hear the concert hall acoustics and ambience on TAMSTTN almost more than any other live recording I can think of.
