I heard the Symbols with a BAT integrated. I liked the sound. I had to walk right up to the speakers to tell if they were playing, they disappear so well.
I like the VTL IT-85. That, with a REL sub and Esoteric X-03SE, is what I listen to at home. A wonderful combination - most people forget the Symbol is a satellite speaker that by design requires a high quality subwoofer. I spent the good part of two years mixing and matching components to find this combination. For a small condo or apartment, it works really well.
