bel canto pre 3 and rhea tube phono stage

I have recently purchased bel canto ref 500m with bel canto pre 3.Speakers are Acoustic Zen Adagio.CD player Myryad mxc 6000.Turntable Michell gyro se.Tonearm origin live conqueror mk ll.Cartridge Dynavector Karat 17D3.Aesthetix rhea phono preamp.Eichmann cabling throughout.Yesterday I decided to plug my rhea phono preamp into the bel canto pre 3 to start enjoying some vinyl playback. As soon as I turned on the rhea,a loud POP came from my right speaker, that got me worried,I also noticed some hash noise.Thinking first it would be the tubes,I then disconnected the rhea and connected it with another integrated amp, plugged it into AUX input everything was fine.I'm wondering if anybody uses a bel canto pre 3 with a tubed phono preamp and has had a similair problem, as I think that the bel canto pre 3 with it's low input impendance of 10k Ohms creates such a problem.Today I connected a dynavector P75 and had no issues. Can it be, there is a problem with the bel canto pre 3 having problems with a tube phono preamp?Anyone out there with a bel canto pre 3 and tube phono preamp please feel free to chime in.Your help will be greatly appreiciated.

I briefly used a Sonic Frontiers Phono 1 with my Bel Canto Pre 3 and no problems however I thought the Bel Canto phono sounded better.
