before I buy

I am looking at an amp to buy but can't test it until I get it home. What if anything should I look for when I pull the hood off? Thanks for any help.

Unless you have some technical expertise, what exactly are looking to test and/or see? Are you concerned about unauthorized modifications?

So you might want to look at the specs too as well as "under the hood".
