Linn only sells their black oil at this time. They recommended velocite #6 (a Mobil product) but so far I can only find it in a 1 gallon size.
Bearing oil for LP-12
I have an LP-12 from 1983 which I believe has the white bearing liner described in Linn's setup manual. They recommend using a light mineral oil in this application rather than their current production black oil.
What oil do owners of older LP-12's use and where is a good source for it?
