Basis dealer in Europe
Hello there,
While visiting NYC I heard Basis 2200 Signature. I did like it. Transparent fast, detailed sound. I was not familiar with the brand, it is not very popular in Europe, actually I do not remember ever seeing it. Does Basis have dealers in Europe ? (So I could ask about pulley conversion from 110V/60Hz to 230V/50Hz).
I could not find any info about dealers on their website. I have tried a few times to call their listed phone #603.889.4776 to no avail. There was review by Michael Fremer in Stereophile of Basis Debut in Jan. 2000. I was wondering how good it is in comparison to new 2200 Signature. Because both can cost the some (used Debut vs. new 2200 Signature). Have anybody compared them ?

In Switzerland at least there is Hifi Studio Sigrist. Mr. Sigrist offers Basis tables since several years. |
