bad for an amplifier when there is no speakers ?

I have a YBA amp that I want to leave ON all the time because it takes forever to warm it up but I always disconnect the speakers that is connected to it because I use a different amp (receiver) to watch movie and this is my only pair of front speakers. My question is, Is it bad for my YBA amp to leave it on with no speakers connected?
appreciate any input.
Thanks

My dad ran a tv and radio repair shop for many years in Brooklyn. As I remember one of his lessons ... it is ok to have the amp on, but potentially bad to have the gain (volume) passed 0. My dad had experiences with frying an amp with the power on and the gain up.
