I think the same thing happened to mine 5 years ago. They sent me a new firmware board to replace. It then worked again. With B&K out of business and a ATI now owning them, I'm not sure how easy it will be to get this part from them.
For the price of this, you could probably get a new A/V receiver that will have all the latest decoding and perform better too.
