Ayon cd-1s digital volume . Use it or not.
Recently bought the CD1-s .
Im not an active preamp guy , but always have one at home.
Trying the Ayon through an Audion Premier Line + Phono plus the sound was seductive , thick and organic .
Using its digital gain control directly to a VTL amp then to a pair of Andra II´s , the results were more dynamic , clear cristal highs and more controlled bass , the voices went thin in comparison .
Any opinions/experiences to share ?
