August Rush HDCD
Hi,
I just wanted to alert you all to an excellent soundtrack. August Rush. While a somewhat sappy movie, the soundtrack has a great variety of music varying from classical, choral, acousitc guitar, and rock. Musicians such as Jonathon Rhys Meyers, Kaki King, Mark Mancina, and many others contribute to the story and bring the music to life. The CD is well recorded and easily earns 4 stars out of 5. The movie itself probably rates a 3 for the story line but 5 for the celebration of music.
Does any one have more information about the CD and music?As I remember, there are several cuts from the movie that the CD does not include. I hope a companion album is released. At any rate, it would be hard not to find several cuts on this CD to show off your system with so buy and enjoy.
