Auditorium 23 interconnects

How do you determine the signal flow end of the Auditorium 23 interconnects? Is it the shielded end? They are not marked as my Nordosts are with an arrow.

The ends of the interconnects with the long heat shrink are the grounded ends.

Keeping the grounded ends pointed towards the amp through the chain should increase the sound quality.
