AudioQuest OptiLInk Pro 2 question

I am thinking of trying out an optical cable between my digital cable box and AVR and also between the Universal player and AVR.

The AT&T termination seems to be inherantly better than the standard Toslink (EIA-J) type. The question I have is can I use this type of cable on standard equipment or is a compatable the female end required.

You cant use an AT&T terminated (glass) cable witn a Toslink input/output. Does you equipment have ST input/output connectors?
By equipment do you mean my AVR or cable box? It doesn't look like there is anything non-standard back there.
Very few components have ST connections. You can't use the
AT&T cable without them. Buy a good quality Toslink cable.
