Notes hang in a black background like you dont usually hear. Music simply sounds beautiful. I also own the cd3mk II which is much cheaper and also very nice. The CD2 is almost twice the price and yes its worth it. And itis well made by one of the best companies in the world with the best service. They can not be beat.
