Audio Research PH5 vs. LP1

Hello Fellow Audiophiles.  Do any of you out there have a preference to the ARC PH5 and/or the LP1 Phono Preamp?  Any chance you have heard or owed both and can offer a comparison between the two?  I'm currently running a B&O Beogram 4002 with MMC20CL to a Rega A2D then on to a ARC LS26.

I owned a PH5 for a year and loved it, just traded up to a PH7. I have 2 friends with a PH5 and they also report that they are very happy with it. One friend takes his PH5 and runs it through an ARC REF 1 and Pass monoblocks to top of the line Tyler speakers. The PH5 holds its own in this system. This unit also responds very well to tube rolling.
