You got efficient speakers.... looks like a great match with the Rogue Cronus Magnum, and much more exciting sound. So, if it was up to me, yes, I would do it!
Audio Refinement Pre5 + Multi5 or Cronus Magnum?
I have a chance to trade my Audio Refinement Pre5 preamp + Multi5 amp (used in a stereo biamp setup) for a Rogue Cronus Magnum. Would you do it? Here are some other components in my system:
- Mogami 2549 interconnects
- Pro-ject Xpression III turntable
- Ortofon MC-3 Turbo cartridge
- Pro-ject phono tube box II (also have option of using onboard phono stage on Cronus int amp)
- Tekton 6.5t speakers setup for biwire / biamp using ScanSpeak tweeter and woofer
