Audio Physic Virgo3 owners

I need some advice from Audio Physic Virgo 3 owners who also own JM Lab Mini or Micro Utopia. I have the Virgo 3's for a little bit over a year now and I'm very happy with it. I'm planning of upgrading (not sure if this is an upgrade though) to JM Lab Mini Utopia. I know that the Virgo's have better bass extension of course but other than that I wanted to find out if this is a better sounding speaker than the Virgo 3's? I don't want to end up downgrading intead of upgrading. BTW. I don't have a JM Lab dealer close to my place and also don't want to use them just to audition and then buy from Audiogon.
Thanks,
Del

"I don't have a JM Lab dealer close to my place and also don't want to use them just to audition and then buy from Audiogon." Sounds like you are not sure of these speakers (Mini Utopia) at all. How can you trust another's opinion on how these sound? YOU need to get out and listen to these Mini Utopias right along side your Virgos either at a JM Lab dealer (haul your Virgos with you) or in your own listening room and make the decision for yourself. You are talking about some fairly substantial green here and owe it to yourself to make the effort to listen and compare, heck take a friend along for a second opinion.
I don't think the Minis are a step up, for sure. Maybe different, but i wouldn's sell the APs, unless there is something you sincerely dislike about them.
I own JMlab Electra 926. Before purchasing them I listened to Virgo3 (in similar system) among others. Electra is on par with Virgo so how could you downgrade replacing Virgo with Utopia.
