Artemis Speakers as1.0

Hello all, This is a fisrt time post for me. I came across some items from a customer (content auction) There are a pair of artemis AS1.0 speakers with these heavy metal stands, some perreaux amps and tuner preamps, magnum dynalab tuner, and a conrad johnson premier 14. After some research though i have found out that the speakers are sought after and maybe could get some of my money back, I cannot seem to find anything out on the internet about them so a friend referred me here. any information would be great. or if anyone is interested let me know. thanx in advance

I've owned Klipschorns, Mirage M1, Devore, Audio Physics, Wilson Audio Sophia 2, 3, and Artemis EOS. To my ears the Artemis were very, very, good. They don't have the low end impact, but they do other things very well. I had them sitting on the heavy metal stands. Reference Cinema and Sound located in NY was a dealer for them. I hope this helps.
I've owned many speakers over the years (Klipschorns, Mirage M1s,Audio Physics, Devore,Wilson Sophia 2,3)including Artemis EOSs with metal stands. They don't go super low, but I consider them to be some of the best speakers I've ever owned.

Yeah these were one of the best monitors of the 90s.
They used the 7 inch Eton midbase and the Accuton tweeter.
They also made a tower version of this speaker which used a 12 inch Eton woofer along with the 7 inch midbase and tweeter. Those were one of the best speakers i ever heard.
Here's someone selling the top of the line Artemis speakers from the mid 90s.

Just a FYI for price. A pair (without sub) is for sale at Dearborn Records, without stands, for $1500.

Good luck.
