Are Monoblocks better than Multi-channeled amps??

My gut instinct suggests that monoblocks are better, but I can't for the life of me understand why. Is there any logic in this and why?

Integrated amps like the ASR emitter, Symphonic Line Kraftwerk, Pass ect. Give same priced separates a run for their money.
