Are manufacturer AC cables good enough?

I have two PS Audio AC3 and two Pangea AC 14 cables I don't use.  My thinking is that Ayre wouldn't supply cables that are inadequate for their components.  Is that thinking flawed?

usually people that buy Ayre are looking for more than adequate performance...good cables can be expensive, so why add to the cost of the component, when most customers prefer to select their own cabling...a source of endless contention, many endless threads for you to read...but you're lucky, you already have some cords to compare...
it's not just the cable, but the connectors also...some think it's the plugs that actually make the biggest difference...
this thread is a good example of why it would make no sense to include a high quality power cord: everyone wants something different, and wants to choose their own cord, connectors, length, maybe build it themselves, and the non believers are happy with any included cord...
it's often interesting to see what power cords equipment manufacturers use in their in-house listening rooms...
most manufacturers seem extremely hesitant to discuss recommendations for cables and components they don't manufacture...why it's fun to see what they use at shows and in their own corporate listening rooms...
maybe it was the electrical shocks that caused the cognitive dissonance...
I thought I really liked my cables and cords...do I have to measure them on that $11,000 machine like Gene's to make sure I like them? that's way more than my cables cost...
+1 cleeds ... the only testing that matters is the testing you do at home in your own system... and we buy with return privileges so there's no bias to "pretend"...
you're quite correct rodman, it was foolish to want to spend momey on cables and cords that actually made everything sound worse...where were you 30 years ago when I tried my first awesome Museatex interconnects ???
what matters is if you prefer them in your room, in your system. and feel they are worth the cost to you...don't care if others like them in different rooms and with different systems...and the differences are not necessarily night and day...and if you don't like them or don't feel they are worth the price, then you return them for a full refund...seems so simple
I do not know any suppliers so I cannot answer, only can say what I do and why...some of us care about others doing blind testing and having lots of data, and some of us don't...and that's fine and good

that's the great thing about AC cables (or any cables), it's so easy to have them shipped, test them in your own system, double blind of course, and ship them back if you don't like them...much harder to do with a TV...
I don't care enough about TV to try, but sounds interesting, why don't you try it and report back please kozka since you wanna know
