Anyone heard "O Brother Where Art Thou?

I just saw an Amazon teaser when I signed off email. What a lineup. Alison Krauss, Gillian Welch, Emmylou Harris (on one song), Norman Blake, the Whites, Fairfield Four, the Cox Family, John Hartford. Wow.

yeah, this is one of the greats in the "americana," "roots," "folk" genre in many a year. I can only hope that'll inspire a new breed of listeners to explore this favorite variety music of mine.
suburuguru: i think i have about every fairfield four disc of the last 10 years. their best is the first i bought: "standing in the safety zone" (WB 9 26945-2). two others that are fun: "i couldn't hear nobody pray" (WB 9 4668-2); "the fairfield four and friends, live from mountain stage" (blue plate special-402- available from ohboy.com- john prine's label). the group has been around in various iterations and numbers since the early 1920's! let me know if you, or any other a-goners, are interested in the various genre on o brother. i have several hundred of such recordings on cd and lp. they are what i listen to most. -kelly
