I know this is an old post but I am wondering the same thing . I just hooked up the blume and it sounds real good.with Bryston 4b . I am wondering if the audioengine is better ? thanks
Anyone had a chance to compare the Audioengine B1 against the Auris BluMe?
Both seem to use the same AKM DAC, so I would imagine if there's a sonic difference between them, it would be due to mild variations in the circuit implementation. I guess it's possible that the same board is being used, as I've seen with countless other Bluetooth receivers, but who knows.
