Anyone famimiar with Reynaud Arpeggione


I'm looking for feedback on the reynaud floorstanding version of the twin-
Satisfying low-end?
will they do o.k. about 9 feet apart?
recomendations for integrateds at or less than $1500 and cables? any other thoughts....

They need about 2 months to break in initially, and they still improve thereafter... Before that they can lack dynamics and refinement, sound harsh or bright, uninspiring. They can produce magic.
THE amp for these speakers is the Audiomat Arpege Reference. It exceeds your price range by a few dollars (a smidge over 2000), but it is the best I have heard with these speakers. For cables, try cardas. Cheers!

I had a pair for about 2 months in a small room where I was listening in nearfield. (Using an Audio Refinement Complete integrated and a Bel Canto DAC1.) They did not do well for me, at all. Maybe they will work better for you at 9 feet, but I cannot recommend them based on my experiences as I did not care for the sound at all. You would also need a subwoofer for "satisfying bottom end."
